Member Attendance at Teleconference Board of Directors Meetings

Any NAWBA member can attend a BOD teleconference meeting under the following conditions (which are set forth in the interest of responsible stewardship of club resources and in accordance with existing provisions):

1) The NAWBA member (NM) must cover the costs of participation. A check in the amount of $50 (US) is to be sent to the treasurer one week in advance of the teleconference call. The treasurer will compute exact costs after the call and will refund any monies above actual cost. Should the NM's participation involve costs in excess of $50, the NM agrees to reimburse NAWBA for the amount in excess of $50.

2) The NM should clearly state the reason for participation in the teleconference meeting. The NM's participation in the teleconference meeting shall be restricted to the portion of the meeting dealing with the specific stated purpose.

3) Such purpose must not be in contradiction to provisions of current NAWBA constitution and by-laws. Specifically, the constitution and by-laws specify that charges against members must be preferred in writing and that subsequent events follow specific guidelines. In other words, NMs wishing to prefer charges against other members are asked to abide by the constitution and by-laws.
